New Addition

Moved the two Zebra Danios to the larger tank and added three new Red Minor Tetras to the 6 Gal tank. Will post the photos later..

I've moved the Rasboras to the new tank. I'm debating whether I should a couple more to make the school look better.

My Second Tank

I havent had a chance to update this blog for quite sometime...

About two weeks back, I bought another tank.. a (2nd hand) 10gallon glass tank. During the inital cleanup, I noticed that the tank was as a saltwater tank by its previous owner. I introduced Wukum in the tank with the intention to create a habitable environment in the tank. Betta are hard fish and they can be a good fish to start in a tank. The idea was to let Wukum be in the tank till the bacteria levels a high enough to introduce other fishes in it. It took almost a week for the eco-system to develop in the tank.

Last night I bought two platy: A red wag and a rainbow blue. The two didnt get a warm welcome from the Betta. He started attacking them from the get-go. I watched them for a while.. even considered moving Wukum back to the 6 Gallon... but then he realised his new tankmates are not of his kind. Soon he back to one corner making bubble nets.
